Visit Family Members:
When you come up with a list of 1,000 ways to do anything, some will, of course, appear too obvious or straightforward, but some of those could end up being the most memorable. Don’t pass up an opportunity to spend time with your child because it seems too simple.
Just like “snail mail” or mailing letters is a lost art, so is merely visiting others. There are probably friends or family members that if you weren’t so busy, you might visit them. This is a perfect way to connect or reconnect with loved ones.
WMTDS (What Makes This Date Special):
This date is special because of the importance it places on the relationship not only you have with your child but that the two of you have with those whom you love. In a day where so many relationships are based on the electronics in our life, there is something to be said about engaging in face to face relationships with others.
If you have friends or family members that live in other parts of the country or world, you can use your computer to have a video call with them.
The only preparation necessary is to schedule a time with your loved ones.
