A great way to spend time with your kids is to leave encouraging notes in library books

Leave Encouraging Notes In Library Books:

Place encouraging notes in library books. I love the ideas that involve helping others, but especially this one. How fun and unique. You can be as creative as you want with this, but the idea is to write notes of encouragement and place them inside library books. If you are a believer, this is an excellent opportunity to leave Bible verses that encourage the individual. But that’s not required, anyone can leave encouraging notes. You can do it on pieces of paper, larger sticky notes, whatever you prefer. You can leave them in adult books or children’s books alike. What a cool thing to check out a library book and find an encouraging note, it’s an extraordinary yet simple gift to give someone.

WMTDS (What Makes This Date Special):

Any date idea where you can serve together is a special date in and of itself. This one is special because of its uniqueness. If you and your child enjoy going to the library’s, this is even more of a special time for the two of you.

Teachable Moments:

Kindness

Variations:

You can do this same idea at a book store or a used book store. There are probably a lot of different varieties you can come up with with the concept of just leaving notes behind for someone to discover later.
